Aeroshade is the largest manufacturer of woven wood shades and folding doors in the United States. Originating in Waukesha, Wisconsin in 1912, Aeroshade has grown to become one of the community's most respected companies.
Today, Aeroshade Inc. occupies a 70,000 square foot office and
manufacturing complex, situated on a full city block owned by
Aeroshade for future expansion. The company's young,
aggressive management foresees great growth in the future due
to energy conservation and the insulating factor of the
Basswood used in Aeroshade products.
Veniflex doors were added to the Aeroshade line of woven wood
products in 1950 and have steadily increased in usage by the
building industry.
Public acceptance of Aeroshade products demanded national
distribution of the shades and draperies at the company's
origin in 1912. Homes, schools, hospitals, businesses,
institutions and colleges dormitories all over the United
States have become satisfied users of Aeroshade products.
