Aeroshade folding doors / accordion doors arrive ready to install. You can order these folding doors and accordion doors in your choice of finishes including a semi-glass clear treatment, a wide range of decorator enamel colors, flat oil stains and even special or fire retardant finishes. Each comes complete with easy-to-follow instructions and installation hardware including screws, attractive handles, 10 lb. magnetic latch, and anchor mouldings to easily attach the door to the jamb or wall.

Aeroshade Veri-Flex accordion doors are hand-crafted with five 7/8″ wide by 1/11″ thick kiln dried and hand sanded northern basswood slats in each 4 5/8″ wide fold. For long wear, the weaving cords are #12 hard finish 38 lb. test prestretched fisherman’s seine twine that is carefully spaced 4 3/4″ apart except for the end cords, which are 1″ from end of slat.

For easy operation and long wear durability, all folding doors come equipped with quietly operating nylon rollers that are carefully mounted to the door with bronze finished aluminum intermediate hangers. In addition, all models have been tested to over 100,000 closures without breakage and are guaranteed for one year against any defect in material or workmanship.

Aeroshade developed and patented its own exclusive method of manufacturing woven wood shades, porch coverings, patio shades and draperies. It also developed the lock-twist design used in weaving the fisherman’s seine twine in all Aeroshade products and holds patents on its weaving process.
