Indoor Shades
Woven wood shades are made only from select North American Basswood which resists warping or sagging. The “Aerocrylic” plasticized oil stain finish keeps colors bright, and contains the maximum legal amount of fungicide to reduce the possibility of mildewing.
Weaving cords are made of tightly braided cotton seine twine, which has a greater resistance to abrasion and stretching than synthetic filament yarns. Sway cords fasten at the top and bottom to guard against wind damage. Heavy plated steel hardware has nylon rollers for noiseless raising and lowering of shades.
